September 17th, 2010

I am just no good at keeping up these Blog things. >.<

But, I was correct, Gaga HAS been a huge factor of my happiness this year. Really, 2010 hasn't been too shabby, but it's been UBER fast! I feel like August didn't even happen; it just kind of whizzed on by.

Some of my favorite events:

Visiting my best friend Annitsa in California for 3 days in May.

Going to Atlantic City on July 4th to see Gaga (waited in line about 12 hours, made some awesome friends, stood in the pit!)

Waiting 14 1/2 hours for Gaga for her Today Show performance; meeting friends, sleeping on the New York City strees; amazing experience!

Waiting in line all day at the Milwuaukee Gaga show on Sept. 2nd; best Monster Ball EVER, I dressed up, met Posh, met some AMAZING people in line, and Gaga said to me "I think you're sexy" while pointing her disco stick at me, and also calling me a superfan after I yelled out in response to her question "the TRUTH!!". And I made tons of contact with Justin of Semi Precious Weapons, along with Gaga. It was the best night, EVER! ^.^

And then, I got to meet Tim Gunn again at Fashion's Night Out, and will meet him a third time next Tuesday at Barnes 'N Noble, for a reading & signing. I <3 him so much. :)

Lastly, I will also meet James Marsters at NYCC! I am so beyond excited; he is so precious with his fans.

All in all, this has been an amazing year for a fan girl like myself. :D

2010

I was originally VERY excited for 2010 - this was a fresh new decade, with new prospects over the horizion.

But once 2010 actually arrived and started happening, it has been quite terrible. Bad thing after another has continuously been occuring since the 1st, and it's very exhausting.

I would say so far the only GOOD thing about 2010 has been my Lady Gaga concert on the 24th, and the fact that I won a dinner for two at Vynl from their Grammy party (which I watched only for Gaga.)

So I guess I have to say that Lady Gaga is my only salvation this 2010.

Inspirational Spice Dream

Last night I had a dream that I was with the other Spice Girls, and we were just starting out, like it was 1994. We were hanging out together on what seemed like deserted streets (the atmosphere was kind of dark and hazy, with lots of grays and blacks), and we were singing and writing songs (by throwing out ideas and such). At one point it was like I was Sporty, though at first it seemed like I was just imitating her style - but I could really sing her high parts (which was amazing, since I can't sing soprano), and we were all singing "Do It". It was really fun and just, magical.

When I woke up, I was completely depressed. THIS is what I want more than anything (though of course I couldn't have been a part of the Spice Girls), I want to be in a girl band like that. So this morning I told Crystal that we should start a girl group. Why not? There is nothing that I love more than life than singing and performing, so we have to at least put the effort out and try, right?

Right.

Viva Forever

Last night I dreamt that the Spice Girls were back together, and I was like, looking through this 3-D catalog that was really bright with lots of colors and it had tons of new merchandise, including solo merchandise. I was looking through Melanie C's, which had tons of glasses and calendars and such, and I was trying to figure out what to buy first to make sure it didn't sell out.

I was so happy and excited, and everything was just so colorful and bright! With like, colorful spotlights going over it.

It was lovely. :D
